CDR TJ Christl is the Director of the Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) within the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR). CIP executes the Sector Risk Management Agency (SRMA) responsibilities for the Healthcare and Public Health (HPH) Sector on behalf of HHS, promoting resilience of the nation’s health infrastructure by leading a dynamic public-private partnership, drawing from all aspects of the Sector, to prepare for future threats, manage risks, and coordinate effective response. As the Director of CIP, CDR Christl leads the SRMA activities and serves as the permanent Co-Chair of the HPH Sector’s Government Coordinating Council.
Prior to joining CIP in 2019, CDR Christl spent 16 years with the Food and Drug Administration as a project manager, emergency coordinator, and most recently the Director of the Office of Drug Security, Integrity and Response where he oversaw strategic and operational activities supporting global pharmaceutical supply chain integrity including imports, exports, recalls and the detection and prevention of and response to counterfeit or otherwise illegitimate drugs in the U.S. pharmaceutical supply chain.
In his capacity within the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service, CDR Christl had deployed to public health disaster responses on numerous occasions including COVID-19, Hurricanes Irma and Maria, and to the Monrovia Medical Unit Ebola Treatment Unit outside of Monrovia, Liberia. CDR Christl earned Bachelors in Science in Biology and Marine Science from the University of Miami, his M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina and his M.S. in Organizational Leadership at Johns Hopkins University.

Keith Busby
Acting Chief Information Security Officer
Keith Busby is the Acting Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). He leads enterprise cyber security, compliance, privacy, policy, and counterintelligence functions at CMS and ensures the Agency complies with secure IT requirements while encouraging innovation.
Mr. Busby has over ten years of experience in information technology, security, and management consulting.
Previously, Mr. Busby served as the Deputy CISO, the director of CMS’ Cyber Threat and Security Operations Division, and the director of the agency’s Security and Privacy Compliance Division.
Before his tenure at CMS, Busby was executive director of Information Technology Security for the School District of Philadelphia.
Keith is an eight-year U.S. Army veteran with a bachelor’s degree in computing and security technologies from Drexel University and a master’s in cybersecurity and information security from Capitol Technology University.
Keith likes to brag that he is a participation trophy award-winning backyard BBQ pit master. He is a dedicated youth baseball assistant coach who spends his “free” time shuffling his son from field to field.

Travis Rosiek is a highly accomplished cyber security executive with more than 20 years in the industry. He has built and grown cybersecurity companies and led large cybersecurity programs within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). His experience spans driving innovation as a cybersecurity leader for global organizations and CISOs to corporate executive building products and services. His impact has helped lead to successful IPOs (FireEye) and acquisitions (BluVector by Comcast). As a Cyber Leader in the U.S DoD, he has been awarded the Annual Individual Award for Defending the DoD’s Networks.
Travis currently serves as the Public Sector CTO at Rubrik helping organizations become more cyber and data resilient. Prior to Rubrik, Travis held several leadership roles including the Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at BluVector, CTO at Tychon, Federal CTO at FireEye, a Principal at Intel Security/McAfee and Leader at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). He earned a Certificate from GWU in Executive Leadership and graduated from West Virginia University with Honors while earning multiple Engineering Degrees. He also was one of the first of ten students from across the nation to be awarded a scholarship from the DoD/NSA’s in cybersecurity.
