During the discussion, Melissa Fields talks about the level of attacks. Believe it or not, in 2020 every eleven seconds there was a ransomware attack. There was a 750% increase in ransomware attacks. The federal government is not immune from these malicious actors.

Some companies approach this issue from a defensive posture. Everyone believes in a strong cyber defense.

However, all you must do is pick up a newspaper to see recent successful attacks on federal data. From a realistic perspective, federal agencies will be successfully attacked.
